We've noticed that some customers grab their activated Power Treads ASV in such a way that they block the treads from moving. When this happens, our safety fuse cuts off power after about 10 seconds. In order to reset this fuse, the customer has to simply TURN THE UNIT OFF, wait 10 seconds, and then TURN THE UNIT ON. At that point, the ASV will behave as expected.
Understandably, some customers are flicking the power switch on and off very quickly. Much quicker than the 10 seconds the fuse needs to reset. Those customers then conclude that the batteries are dead and replace them unnecessarily.
This results in the false impression that Power Treads (which actually have great battery life!!) depletes batteries extremely quickly. Please open a ticket with us if you have any further questions or concerns.
If the solution above does not work, it may be time to replace the batteries. Click our article here to learn how to change the batteries on your ASV.
