How do I make it stop?
To exit a mode, grab Dog-E by touching both sides, then lift up. There are 3 lines on each side of Dog-E to show where to touch.
If Dog-E seems to be stuck in a mode or acting strangely, turn it off using the ON/OFF switch on the underside of Dog-E, then turn Dog-E back on again.
What if the sensors aren’t working?
Make sure you’re touching Dog-E’s sensors in the right spot. The head sensor is located in the center top front of Dog-E’s head. Dog-E’s side sensors are marked with 3 lines on each side.
If Dog-E is barking, wagging its tail or doing something else, wait for Dog-E to finish before touching the sensors. Dog-E's sensors will not respond while it is in the middle of a reaction.
When I attach Dog-E’s bone, it doesn’t run forward. What should I do?
If the Dog-E’s bone magnetically connects to Dog-E, but doesn’t appear to trigger the reaction where Dog-E runs forward, remove the bone and try again. Sometimes, attaching the bone presses Dog-E’s nose button, so Dog-E “eats” the bone, rather than running. Remove Dog-E’s bone and attach again.
When you first attach Dog-E's bone, Dog-E will run forward a few steps and then pause. Pet Dog-E's head while the bone is still attached to make it run continuously.
